The Wild Project Green Roof is a relatively low roofdeck on top of a one-story building, Lower East Side funky block. No sweeping views of the city, being surrounded by taller buildings on two sides, but from a gardening perspective, an interesting project. Contains a mix of native wildflowers, including marsh marigolds and wild columbine. The 15,000 square foot space is one of the few green roofs in NYC that includes native species.
