summer is almost over.
the cool breath of fall is upon us. and while i welcome the tease of a new season, i am not just yet ready to let go of my precious summer nights.
luckily, we have a few weekends of bliss ahead of us. i am more than looking forward to the last finale weekend of the NYBG’s the edible garden event. all summer-long growing great food was celebrated! celebrity chefs/speakers, exhibitions, tastings were front & center at the new outdoor conservatory kitchen. you can buy fresh local produce at their farmer’s market on wednesdays & saturdays, or take a guided cell phone tour narrated by mario batali and bette midler.
