Are you busy making your summer plans? Dreaming of long sunny days? So are we! And we need you this year to help make summer a fun and creative time for Lower Eastside girls. Please consider sponsoring summer programs for a Lower Eastside Girls Club member. Full sponsorship is $500 per participant, and our goal this year is to raise enough to offer programs to 50 girls.
As always, our programs will be provided free of charge for participating girls and families. It will be a summer to remember for girls, and a much needed break for their families.
Your support will help us run an innovative series of GIRLS GONE GREEN summer activities and mini camps:
+ trips to farms and beaches + canoeing and camping in the Adirondack Mountains + running our own city-based Farmer’s Markets + workshops in digital photography and filmmaking + yoga and movement + recycled materials art workshops + nutritious cooking classes and more!
