wave hill: perfect palisades

wave hill, once home to samuel clemens & theodore roosevelt, is a beautifully romantic setting for an unforgettable wedding with its intimate gardens & spectacular views of the palisades. exchange vows under the lushly planted pergola overlooking the hudson, and dine & dance in the dramatic armor hall. built in 1843 in the style of an english country residence, the estate is set on 28 acres–a short thirty minutes from midtown manhattan and equally convenient to westchester, western connecticut, & northeastern NJ.

weddings at wave hill may only take place in the evening, during non-public hours. (that kinda sucks) and the place is also available for meetings & conferences, special celebrations & photoshoots.
great performances is the exclusive caterer and their on-site representative will work directly with you to create the perfect menu to enhance your even. which, after the $5,000 donation fee (it’s tax-deductible & you do get a year-long membership with it!!) plus, $1,500 event rental fee, is gonna cost you. the average cost per person is $235. (includes menu, staff, rentals & thankfully, a premium open-bar).
there’s also a mandatory valet parking. so, realistically, you need to win the lottery to throw your shindig here. but if you could/can afford it, it will be a lovely affair to remember. i swear.
check out these amazing rooms & exteriors and start fantasizing.
