well, you do now! dust off your crafty pants and come join other craft lovers for the weekly craft night at the etsy labs in brooklyn.
that’s right, i said craft night! this fun filled evening happens every monday from 4-8pm EST at 325 gold street, 3rd floor in brooklyn. make new friends, learn a craft or two.
ah, shucks–you aren’t in brooklyn? well, you’re still covered. they also broadcast online in the virtual labs.
this week, on monday, march 23, 2009 they will be demonstrating glass etching. all those old bottles, baby food & pickle jars, will find new life as prettied-up fancy catch-alls, vases, glasses.
all you gotta do is bring a smooth glass cup or tumbler or a mirror. (hell, bring a few things!) if you have a pair of safety goggles on hand, bring those along too. everything else will be provided by the etsy labs.
these make great centerpieces, gifts–maybe even have a craft night at your house with the girls. bust out the etch cream & rubber gloves. that’s a party!
