ikea: outdoor solar lighting
ikea catches flack for being, well–a big-box chain. typically, that conjures up factories in china, pollution & unbridled consumerism.
but ikea does have an environmental responsibility stance and are working towards new products that are inspired by that vision. and for that, deserve a bit of street cred–for that and because their designs are pretty cool too.
here are some great solar lighting options that work fantastically for outdoor events.
i love the chinese lanterns as well as the string lights, but i particularly love these sleek stake lights. they will be great for lighting up an aisle or walkway for a nighttime event–replacing candles along a path.
