paper flowers: quilling
and that’s ok! these are way better.
i have always had a fixation on quilling. it’s one of those old world crafts, like tatting, that fancy ladies used to do because they weren’t allowed to work a job yet. i’ve never attempted to tackle this fine art, unless you count the random shapes i’ve scrunch together with that paper sheath that comes on straws, but i have always delighted in the magic of it.
and i am not the only one, as it seems to enjoying a resurgence these days. i’ve seen earrings (yes, i said earrings!), snowflake ornaments, small topiaries–all made with precisely manipulated strips of paper!
insanity.
this sweet floral from crafting creatures, would be an awesome invite for a spring fling–be it a wedding or fun garden party.
