MOMA always has some wonderfully brilliant objects. but i love how escama studio–working with fair-trade coops in brazil uses soda can flip tops to create cute brooches–consider using these for your bridal attendants instead of bouquets. make cute wristlets, chokers or add some ribbon and wear on your person. beyond the obvious recycled aspects, what i find the most inspired is the exemplary use of crochet (another personal favorite).

plus, the nostalgia of my homeland–texas. it instantly makes me think of grandma williams and her lovely lone star beer can hats. directions for making our own hat are here, thanks to stitchy mcyarnpants.
