for those of you looking for greener invite options, the choices are many. super groovy printers are using better resources in their work more & more (see earthly affair & rolling press) but perhaps the greenest of all choices is the online invitation. no trees. no ink. no united states postal service. just instant gratification!
so i am really thrilled to be a part of pingg.com’s designer series. pingg really kicks some butt when it comes to online party invites because they have an expanded vision. beyond the pretty invitations, they have totally hostess-friendly features like: RSVP management, gift & charity registries & are fully integrated into social networks (like facebook/twitter) so you can get your invite out in multi-mediums, including print/mail & mobile alerts. i especially love the photo sharing aspect that allows you & your party goers to upload into a communal album.
AND all this can be navigated from your fully customized event’s web page. how cool is that!
i designed my invites based on stuff i was into at the time. some are flirty & fun, others more serious–all seemingly random. i hope you find an occasion that warrants their use. if you don’t like any of mine, or the many images pingg has to choose from, no sweat. you can even upload your own stuff and party on!!
