favorites from the “inspire me” contest

if you’ve read any of my recent posts you know i was a lucky finalist in the wonderful hostess with the mostess’ holiday “inspire me” contest. while i didn’t win–sigh–one of my favorite contestants, erin godbey, did come in third place. i wanted to share her super cute idea for a retro christmas.

this is the kind of holiday i remember as a kid. there’s a certain southern charm to it that makes me nostalgic. if i rolled up to your holiday party and it looked like this, i would be smitten. it’s the right mix of merry & bright and works for all ages.
