vere chocolates
last friday, we went for factory day at vere chocolates.
this local NYC factory–right on west 27th street–is dedicated to pure, real chocolate. they may have started out wanting to make a healthier, better for you chocolate, but they also came away dedicated to social & environmental responsibility.
on fridays they open up their doors for factory fridays–you can sample as many goodies as you can stand, and i guarantee you will be taking some home with you as well! gluten-free, organic & packed with flavor not sugar, these candies are 70-75% cacao in content. that means they are good for your heart. they even have a cutie vegan sampler box.
the ladies in the front office are equally as sweet. chat them up about what they do, they love it! they can help you sort out party favors your next green event!
