green halloween

what began as one woman’s desire to fill halloween bags with kid-friendly treats blossomed into a neighborhood movement. like wildfire, it spread through puget sound, starting with a big thumbs up from whole foods. quickly other organizations & businesses joined in, wanting to offer non-traditional fun stuffs in goodie bags to make halloween healthier & safer for kids.

that was 2007, now in 2008 green halloween is trying to make an impact nationally using their local model. get involved using their city map to find local volunteers, explore the website to find ideas on how to involve your schools and keep the ball rolling.
