uufff, i know, that was really bad. please forgive me.

i never went to camp as a kid, i never really wanted to–although, the movie little darlings, kinda made me wish i had.

i imagine i would have overcome my fear of snakes, know all of the constellations, have at least 20 seriously scary ghost stories at the ready & eaten lots & lots of s’mores.

now with my grown-up tastes, i indulge in memories that never were, by eating yummy s’more cupcakes.

less messy & gooey than their younger cousins, these guys never suffer the third degree burns of being held too long over the bonfire. no, these yummies come delicately browned like a crème brûlée & ooze the appropriate amount of marshmallow upon biting.

i know the cupcake revolution is getting some bad press these days, but i think it’s unfounded. why spend upwards of 7 dollars a slice for your wedding cake when you can get divine individual treats for 1.60 + a cupcake????

i know. it makes little sense to me either.

plus, you can get the exact number of treats to guests–avoiding leftovers, which there won’t be. and if there are–which there won’t be–toting a cupcake home is easier than a messy cake slice for your guests.
