weekend plans?
one of my favorite local groups, lower eastside ecology center, is having a blow out fundraising party this weekend. i will be in woodstock celebrating another milestone–my friend dan casto’s birthday! otherwise, i would absolutely be there.
“no impact man”, colin beaven, is getting some props as are summer rayne oaks, council member rosie mendez and commissioner adrian benepe
good food, good fun, good music
but mostly
a good cause.
these folks present compost workshops around the city, coordinate e-waste recycling programs and promote environmental stewardship. show them some love in return.
