the joy of felted wool
we’ve all bought one of those felted wool bag from tibet, if for no other reason than to give a big “FU” to china. karen thurman & papaver vert however, remove all guilt with designs incorporating whimsy where previously there was none. despite being wool, the styles aren’t heavy–clumsy–the way usual felted wool feels.
thurman’s runners and 13″circles bring the fun to new levels–be it a kid’s party, bridal shower, or luncheon event. actually, i can see a really eccentric wedding cake centered on one of these cuties.
papaver vert’s sweet vases & plant holders, while more swedish in nature, still bring a softness to any contemporary table setting. value-added: send them home with your guests!
if you’re worried about not supporting tibet? you can still boycott the olympics.
