i must have been in a seriously bad mood, the first time zazzle.com was brought before me. that or i am in a terribly infectious, warm-fuzzy kinda mood now, as i just can’t get enough. i’m giddy in fact. bi-polar symptoms aside, i want you to take a look at these babies–am i crazy?
i guess i’m obsessed with them, because in trying to show how less is more, i think it’s important to pay attention to small details. postage, if you go with paper invitations, is a must so make it go the distance by finding a stamp you’d be happy to lick. there truly is a stamp to complement any angle you want to work–irreverent, arty, serious, modern, sleek, cheesy, ornate. plus, you can customize a stamp of your own. yes, you can slap on a picture of anything you cannot find in their countless pages of images–be it semi-incriminating pics of your first date or more bucolic stylings, say, of the cornfield you ran through on last summer’s roadtrip.
the US post office does have nice offerings, it is true. the wedding hearts series leaves a lot to be desired–at least for me. but they are some goodies. the elegant tiffany stained glass or the wonderful simplicity of the beautiful blooms guarantee to seal the deal on any envelope whose style they complete.
yes, both are only 41 cents, which means you need also, a one-cent stamp to actually mail the thing. if you can find a way to use it, the tropical fruit collection is perfect for any tropical/island/summer event you’re planning.
